Whats planned in update Version 3 Release 1

In the next update we plan to link the requirements to the SANS 20 Critical Security Controls (see http://www.sans.org/cag/). 

Version 2 does address all 20 of the SANS Critical Security Controls, however, it does not refer to them directly.  Thus we will link each requirement to the SANS list in the guidance documents and add a matrix to the website showing at which level we meet which of their controls.

We believe the linking of the CDS stages to the SANS Critical Security Controls will allow some to take advantage of the supporting SANS course that has been released (http://www.sans.org/training/description.php?mid=1302).
